The district's annual St. George's Day parade will be held on Friday 25th April in St. Nicholas' Church, Dunston. You may find a map and other information here http://www.achurchnearyou.com/dunston-st-nicholas/. Please be aware parking is limited so you may need to arrive early to get there on time!
We will be meeting at the church on Ellison Road at 6.30 pm and the service should finish around 8.00 pm. Arrangements will be confirmed by your section leaders so please keep a look out for a letter!
Did you know that St. George is the Patron Saint of Scouting? Baden-Powell felt that the Saint George of legend set a good example of faith, courage and perseverance for future generations.
